This showed that RAP-treatment of both the RAMAloxP -9C10 and RAMAloxP -12C7 clones produced a highly significant reduction in plaque formation; the mean relative plaque forming capacity (RPFC) of RAP-treated parasites was 3.39% ± 0.833 (meaning that for every 10,000 plaques produced by the control mock-treated cultures, only 339 were formed in the same number of RAP-treated culture-containing wells) (p = 3.32 x 10 −8 , t = 115.9, d.f. = 4).
