Nonetheless, an increasing trend in vaccine hesitancy is being tracked by the Health Ministry of Malaysia (MOH) whereby a considerable number of parents with young children are refusing and defaulting immunization schedule, from 470 cases in 2013 to 1292 cases in 2014, based on data collected from government clinics and hospitals [ 6 ].
