Institutional data analysis that evaluated the “pinnacle outcome” of student retention in a STEM major showed a positive trend for STEMCats students compared with the non-STEMCats control immediately following the completion of the SRE (i.e., freshman-year STEM retention) in both the descriptive data analysis and the regression analysis, though not statistically significant.
