Participants were asked, “During the past week, how many times did you play an active sport, such as baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, swimming, or football?” We used χ 2 tests of association to test the relationship between intended sport participation and frequency of playing these sports at W1 and W2 and observed a highly significant association at both W1 (χ 2 = 1007.4, P < .001) and W2 (χ 2 = 696.2, P < .001).
