However, patients with hepcidin-resistant GOF variants had highly significant higher serum iron (44.0 μmol/L versus 14.0 μmol/L) and TSAT (92% versus 28%) and lower ferritin (642 μg/L versus 1810 μg/L) concentration than patients with hepcidin-resistant LOF variants ( Table S5 , Figure 2 ).
