An exception was a borderline significant lower mean sCD36 level in night-shift samples collected among experienced night workers compared to day samples during a day shift of the same workers (-14.6%; 95% CI: -27.2%, -0.1%), while the mean sCD36 level among these samples in recent night workers was non-significantly elevated (29.9% (-14.0%, 96.3%) ( Table 3 ).
