Metabolic syndrome was negatively associated with 25(OH)D (OR 0.921, 95% CI 0.888, 0.954). Regarding β ZY , one unit increase in VD_GRS, VD_GRS metabolism , and VD_GRS synthesis was not significantly associated with metabolic syndrome traits (continuous variables), except that GRS combined and GRS synthesis showed marginally significant association with FPG ( P = 0.086 and 0.061, respectively) (Table 2 ).
