The marginally significant ( p < .1) three‐way interaction (Population‐by‐Boundary‐by‐Survivorship interaction; F 1,111 = 3.376, p = .069; Figure S4 a) suggests that mortality was associated with lower relative growth (i.e., lower abiotic stress‐tolerance) just across the low elevation range boundary for plants from the low elevation Black Hills population.
