The other highly significant enrichments at 2 h included RNA secondary unwinding, translation, rRNA processing and ribosome biogenesis (Fig. 4d ), all of which are related to gene transcription and translation, suggesting that protein synthesis was immediately activated in response to ABA stimuli.
