Recently, a clinical trial with Secukinumab, an IL-17A-neutralizing antibody, provided the first evidence that IL-17A-blocking antibody can reduce MS activity, although the results showed only a positive trend in reducing relapse rates, improving MRI parameters but not clinical outcome measures (Havrdová et al., 2016 ).
