Ideally, the Productivity Rate reflects the real outcome, but clinical studies are often frustrated because of an increasing trend to cryopreserve all embryos (so called “freeze-all” protocol) and embryos may remain in cryopreservation for several years, unable to be evaluated during a particular study period.
