1 On the basis of global statistics, cervical cancer has become a severe public issue that threatens female health, leading to approximately 527,600 new cases and 265,700 mortalities annually and showing an increasing trend. 2 Although encouraging improvements have been achieved in therapeutic options, treatment effectiveness is limited, and the 5-year survival rate of cervical cancer patients remains only 40%–50%. 3 Considering that, it is necessary to elucidate the indistinct mechanism of cervical cancer and figure out promising potent strategies for the remedy of this disease.
