We found a highly significant increase in total CD45 + leukocytes per 100 μm 2 (median of cell number per field [interquartile range] COR-1 versus placebo, 23.5 [15.725] versus 7.3 [2.95]), CD4 + (14.9 [13.975] versus 5.6 [1.1]) and CD8 + T cells (11.6 [12.075] versus 2.5 [1.25]), and CD68 + macrophages (12.4 [11.825] versus 4.8 [1.25]) and polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMN) (3.5 [2.875] versus 0.4 [1.35]) with COR-1 immunisation, when compared to placebo.
