The authors concluded that malaria showed a highly significant pattern in different seasons of the year such that P. falciparum and P. vivax malaria reached their highest frequency in autumn and winter seasons and in spring and summer seasons respectively. 22 The data on species correlation to seasonality could not be assessed in our study, due to half the data being missing.
