In singing studies lasting less than 6 months, there are conflicting results: Some reported a positive trend towards intervention in pain interference (Bradt et al., 2016 ; Stegemoller et al., 2017 ), others reported a trend towards control (Pongan et al., 2017 ) and yet others reported no difference (Gale et al., 2012 ; Reagon et al., 2017 ).
