2 A-B, 2 minimal CpG clusters, one relative to the AE2a promoter (–274a, –254a, and –249a sites), and the other relative to the AE2b2 alternate promoter (–307b 2 , –280b 2 , –263b 2 , and –261b 2 sites), gave highly significant ROC curves, with the highest fraction of PBC samples correctly identified as positive ( i.e. highest sensitivity) and with the highest fraction of non-PBC samples correctly identified as negative ( i.e. highest specificity).
