Although the number of T‐bet + Th1 cells was significantly higher in patients with CXCL9 high and a trend toward significance was detected with the number of CD8 + cytotoxic T cells in all iCCA stages, the difference was not statistically significant when early (stages ≤II) and advanced (stages ≥III) cancer stages were considered separately (Figure 2 E,F).
