The third wildcat was also sampled twice, and in the first sampling, both tests were negative, but 2 weeks later, it presented antigenemia but not antibodies (see Table 2 for these and other cases of seroconversion). The prevalence of FHV in males was four times higher than in females, and these sexual differences were marginally significant (Table 3 ).
