While differences between these two groups in radiotherapy and chemotherapy use were highly significant (and readily apparent in Tables 2 & 3 ), we opted to not include these factors in Table 4 , as any potential association of these factors is directly related to the treatment choice for patients with versus without brain metastases (as opposed to these factors impacting risk of brain metastases).
