Comparing only the ADDITION-NL RC group with the care-as-usual groups, the observed mean differences remained similar and were borderline significant with adjusted mean differences of 1.2 mmol/mol (95% CI −0.2 to 2.7) (0.1% (95% CI −0.0 to 0.3)) and 1.5 mmol/mol (95% CI −0.0 to 2.9) (0.1% (95% CI −0.0 to 0.3) ( table 2 ).
