The strong effect of the three main risk factors as determined on univariate analysis were contacted with wildlife being highly significant (p=0.002), movement to the plains was also highly significant (p=0.001) and sharing of drinking water (p=0.017) all of which can be summarized as the strong effect of mixing between wildlife and domestic animals.
