The highest prescription rate of the annual use of statins in new users was rosuvastatin, with an increasing trend from 2013 to 2016 (69.87, 95% CI: 68.68–71.06% in 2013; 80.54, 95% CI: 79.68–81.40% in 2016), and slightly decreased in 2017 and 2018, p < 0.001 (Fig. 1 ).
