There was no statistically significant difference in disease duration since the introduction of the first csDMARD or bDMARD treatment, but the duration of disease at the introduction of the current bDMARD treatment was significantly shorter in the reduced-dose group than in the stable-dose group (9.7 vs 12.1 years, p = 0.034) (Table 1 ). In addition, we noted that there were proportionately more patients treated concurrently with MTX in the reduced-dose group than in the stable-dose group, and the difference was highly significant (86.7% vs 73.8%, p = 0.005).
