The level of genomic diversity did not differ significantly between the subspecies demonstrating an overall trend of slightly lower genetic diversity in Cx. p. molestus; however, this was not significant in pairwise comparisons except for the cultivated colonies from Chicago, IL (Fig. 7 ), which demonstrated a strong depletion of genetic diversity in Cx. p. molestus .
