Relationship between the Position of the Incisors and the Thickness of the Soft Tissues in the Upper Jaw: Cephalometric Evaluation.

The correlation analysis ( Table 1 ) showed that both the thickness of the soft tissues and the position of the incisors are closely related to the profile since the ratio coefficient has been shown to be highly significant for all the esthetic parameters evaluated; the only exception is represented by the nasolabial angle, which shows a significant relationship with the thickness of the tissues but not with the inclination of the incisor.
