Notably a third trial, KEYNOTE-604, assessing the addition of pembrolizumab to first line carboplatin and etoposide, demonstrated a similar improvement in PFS to the studies of the PD-L1 inhibitors above, but narrowly missed statistical significance for an OS benefit; detailed results of this study have not yet been presented or published.
