Also Kt inst was substantially stable along sessions, and was significantly higher for any solute than corresponding Kt bal (Tables 1 and 2 ) There was a highly significant correlation between Kt inst and Kt bal for all evaluated solutes, with correlation lines almost parallel to the identity lines, suggesting a systematic, methodology-related cause for this difference ( Fig 2 ).
