In our study, we used MMC as a routine in all patients that can help in improving the success rate and this matches with a study by Tien et al ., who found a statistically significant difference in success rates between patients receiving MMC and those without ( P = 0.011), with the MMC-treated group being 4.86 times more likely to have success as compared to the non-MMC group (95% CI: 1.45–16.34).[ 13 ] In our study, the probability of postoperative failure during follow-up in our series showed an increasing trend starting from 0.9% (0.9) in the 1 st month to 11.1% (9.9) after 1 year.
