Circular-to-linear regression analysis between the forward-predicted phase as estimated with PHASTIMATE and the log-transformed MEP amplitudes showed a highly significant correlation with the sinusoidal model having a significantly better fit than a constant model (p = 10 −32 ), and with the largest evoked responses coinciding approximately to the trough of C3-centered μ-rhythm phase ( Fig. 7 , panel A).
