To further analyze and identify the significance of differences between WT/KO and days 1–8/9–16, we simplified the analysis design (as the main effect of genotype and day and its interaction was highly significant in the three-way ANOVA, we used WT1-8, KO1-8, WT9-16, and KO9-16 as separate groups without distinguishing genotype and day) and used repeated-measures two-way ANOVA with post hoc Sidak corrections.
