Loss of STAT6 appears to be associated with trastuzumab resistance because we observed a highly significant decrease in STAT6 expression in clones of BT474 that were conditioned to be resistant to trastuzumab. i.e., STAT6 expression decreased after the cells acquired resistance to trastuzumab.
