Supporting the findings of a stronger anti-inflammatory immune response in CD62L −/− mice, we found that this observation is further strengthened by a significant increase in the number of CD25 + FoxP3 + regulatory T cells (Treg) corroborated by a slight trend to higher expression of FoxP3 (Forkhead box P3) on mRNA level ( Figure 3 E).
