Almost all reproductive colonies exhibited a decreasing trend during the last three decades (1990s–2010s), except for the southernmost small colony Los Islotes, which showed a sustained population growth in that period, with an apparent stabilization in the last 4 years (2015–2019) (Fig. 2 ).
