Remarkably, we found that HuR depletion led to strong suppression of MYC and E2F levels that was accompanied by a highly significant reduction in the abundance of MYC- and E2F-transcribed gene sets, pointing to a general suppression of transcription at E2F- and MYC-driven targets by HuR inhibition.
