1 According to the China cancer statistics, the incidence and mortality of BC have shown an increasing trend. 2 Considering that about 70% of the BC are hormone receptor-positive (HR+)/human epidermal growth factor 2 negative (HER2-), endocrine therapy (ET) has become the cornerstone in the treatment of this BC subtype. 3 Third-Generation Aromatase inhibitors (AIs) have become the first choice for postmenopausal and high-risk premenopausal patients in their adjuvant treatment. 4 Besides, AIs are considered the first treatment of choice for patients who develop metastasis. 5 However, not all patients respond well to ET; and even those who do will inevitably relapse in the future.
