Although a significant difference was not observed due to the sample size, the average hs-CRP level in the uRC group (0.70 ± 5.36 to 1.75 ± 3.69 mg/L) showed an increasing trend compared with the placebo group, and this tendency differed from the reductions in LDL cholesterol (133.41 ± 2.06 to 117.79 ± 4.34 mg/dL) and oxidized LDL (64.31 ± 2.53 to 57.76 ± 2.07 U/L) levels in the uRC group.
