A more detailed analysis for each cortical layer showed that the changes in gamma band oscillations were significant for layer VI (r = 0.27, p -values < 0.05) and partially for layer IV (r = 0.23, p -values = 0.06) in area 17, and highly significant for all layers in area 21a, except layer I (All r > 0.4 and p -values < 0.01) ( Figure S2 , Table S2 ).
