Correlations between variables The following correlations ( Table IV ) were highly significant (p<0.01): vitamin B9 (r=0.85), B12 (r=0.88), and homocysteine (r=0.87) before and after food supplementation, homocysteine versus vitamin B12 (r=-0.40 and r=-0.44 before and after food supplementation respectively), homocysteine versus vitamin B9 (r=-0.54 and r=-0.64 before and after supplementation) and vitamin B9 versus vitamin B12 (r=0.44 and r=0.49 before and after supplementation).
