Based on the meta-analysis of the soil microbial diversity index in different cropping systems, Venter, Jacobs & Hawkins (2016) stated that only 15.1% and 3.4% of the microbial community richness and diversity index in the rotation system showed an increasing trend, and the changes in the soil microbial diversity index were closely related to the different rotation systems and the years of continuous cropping.
