For females, the total number of internet experiences was associated with an increased risk of depression (OR per additional experience = 1.09, 95%CI 0.99, 1.20), anxiety (OR per additional experience = 1.06, 95%CI 0.96, 1.19) and self-harm (OR per additional experience = 1.20, 95% CI 1.09, 1.33) (although findings for depression and anxiety did not reach conventional levels of significance).
