In the multiple linear regression analyses of the separate SSP and DMS task outcomes, vessel tortuosity showed a borderline significant association with DMS latency, when only DMS trials with delays were considered: for every unit increase in tortuosity index, there was a 4.32% (95% CI, −0.48% to 9.12%; P = .07) slower performance ( Figure 2 A).
