25 , 26 , 27 Our results, confirming a marked and highly significant reduction of nociceptive motor response in piglets treated with local anaesthetics (as present in Tri‐Solfen) applied topically during castration, are consistent with these previous reports, and indicate that significant procedural pain mitigation is achieved through the use of Tri‐Solfen administered via this method.
