Upon multivariate analysis and after adjusting for sex, age, and other factors that were at least marginally significant in univariate analysis (p<0.1) ( Table 2 ), high frequency of headache for the most recent 3 months following the last follow-up was related with poor functional outcomes (hazard ratio [HR], 1.06; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.01–1.11; p=0.011) and the occurrence of cognitive dysfunction (HR, 1.05; 95% CI, 1.01–1.09; p=0.017), but not with the occurrence of cardiovascular disease (HR, 0.99; 95% CI, 0.93–1.05; p=0.905) ( Table 3 ).
