Whereas MNs expressing inhPSAM showed an increased burden of LC3A and misfSOD1 accumulation (although the latter did not quite reach statistical significance in the present work) compared with noninfected MNs ( Saxena et al., 2013 ), MNs expressing D(Gs) displayed a reduced load of both disease markers ( Fig. 6, D and E ).
