Ethnicity also appeared to significantly affect the odds of being in a higher severity category, although the overall effect of the ethnic group variable was non-significant ( P = 0.051): post hoc tests showed that White British had 103% higher odds than Black groups, and Asian groups had 101% higher odds than Black groups, although with a Bonferroni correction these differences were not quite significant.
