The sentences
In conclusion, evidence from this work underlines a mild trend towards the reduction of the strong gender bias in favor of female students that characterized Erasmus in 2008 and suggests that this tendency can foster the convergence of male and female students flows possibly resulting in a future annulment or at least considerable reduction of the bias.
It is also observed that moving from 2008 to 2013, there is an increasing trend toward gender parity, especially in Eastern European and some Mediterranean countries.
