When comparing within the G4 region mutants, both complementing and deleting the (GGN) 13 repeat yielded highly significant reductions in distal neurite mRNA localisation when compared to the WT G4, further suggesting that the Task3 WT (GGN) 13 G4 formation is required for distal Task3 mRNA localisation.
