These studies together with our data demonstrating a highly significant up-regulation of ANGPTL4 in GB cells during hypoxia and in GB patient samples, support that ANGPTL4 might constitute an important target for GB therapy, especially taking into account its contribution to many important features of GB progression, such as energy homeostasis, angiogenesis, invasion and chemoresistance.
