One RCT evaluated a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug meloxicam in SAH and showed no differences in in-hospital mortality or GOS on discharge, with a slight trend toward reduced middle cerebral artery transcranial Doppler flow velocity in patients treated with meloxicam [ 52 ].
