These statistically significant differences ( p valence < 0.001; p arousal = 0.009) may be partly related to the existence of a positive trend found in participants with multiple recordings (average slope of 0.092 in valence and 0.135 in arousal), but could also indicate differences in other aspects of the sample that were not assessed in the study.
